Band 7 £24,702- £25,979 per annum pro rata

We are seeking a new, dedicated Senior Gallery Operations Officer to ensure the smooth daily operations of Hartlepool Art Gallery. This role involves managing staff and volunteers, maintaining the building, ensuring health and safety compliance, and enhancing the visitor experience.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in recruiting and developing staff and volunteers to support the ongoing delivery of the service and exploring new ways of working for our audiences and communities.
Responsibilities include contractor management, retail operations, financial tasks, and serving as Duty Manager. Candidates should have supervisory experience, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
This post is subject to a rota that may change according to business needs.
This role is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with key members of the Museum and Gallery Service to identify a best value operating model for Hartlepool Art Gallery, implement income generation strategies, support the redevelopment of the venue and capital investment as well as be part of an amazing team of people with a passion for showcasing fantastic collections and artists.
