The workload of the Commissioning & Service Development Officer is extremely varied and requires someone with a proactive, innovative approach. You will work in a supportive environment with a focus on learning and improvement with opportunities for hybrid working.
The role will focus on commissioning and developing adult social care services. It involves managing contracts and improving quality within care homes and other services for older people and working age adults. You will support independent sector organisations to provide the best quality care and support to the people of Hartlepool.
Previous experience of adult social care would be advantageous but is not essential.
