CASUAL DRIVER (D1) REF: 103775
Band 5 £12.85 per hour
Casual Hours (working as and when required)
Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.
We are looking to recruit to our bank of casual drivers to assist in the delivery of Passenger Transport Services.
Applicants must hold a current category D1 licence. The successful applicant will also have experience of working in a customer focused environment, transporting passengers and be able to demonstrate effective communication.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out general transport services for users of Passenger Transport Services, the tasks will include;
· Driving Hartlepool Borough Council vehicles
· Carrying out daily vehicle inspections to monitor cleanliness, maintenance and ensure vehicles meet all legislative requirements
· Maintaining log sheets and any other records as required
