The workload of the Quality Officer requires someone with a pragmatic approach who is sensitive to the needs of others. You will work in a supportive environment with a focus on learning and improvement with opportunities for hybrid working.
The role will support the Commissioning & Performance Team to monitor the quality of adult social care services predominantly in care homes but will also include other services for older people and working age adults The role will focus on commissioning and supporting the development of adult social care services. It involves supporting with the management of contracts and improving the quality within care homes and other services for older people and working age adults. You will support independent sector organisations to provide the best quality care and support to the people of Hartlepool. Previous experience of adult social care would be advantageous but is not essential.
