The Performance Management Team is a small team responsible for the provision of management information relating to children across the Children’s & Joint Commissioning Services Department and schools. The team provide analysis of data in relation to school and pupil level performance, youth offending, social care and early help in order to monitor and evaluate progress and inform service planning.
The team are also responsible for the collation, validation and analysis of data for all statutory returns relating to children and are required to provide support, guidance and training to school and departmental staff.
This is a full time, permanent post. We are looking for a committed team player with recent experience of working in a statistical context, preferably within an education, social care or early help environment. The successful candidate will be experienced in the use of Excel and reporting from databases and be able to work on their own initiative. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Objects, Power BI or SQL would be advantageous. We also operate a hybrid working model (2 days from the Civic Centre & 3 days home working each week).
