This post involves carrying out some driving but mainly labouring work within the Building Maintenance Section of Housing Services maintaining 11,200 council homes.

Applicants must possess an excellent work ethic and professional approach. Housing repairs are undertaking extensive refurbishment work to the Council’s housing stock when vacant.

Work will involve but not be limited to, hacking off plaster to walls and ceilings, removing fixtures and fittings, clearing vacant properties ready for trade operatives to start work and general labouring.

Full driving licence is essential.
