Temporary 12 months – maternity cover

Due to the current post holder beginning a period of maternity leave a position has arisen in the fostering service for a marketing and/or training specialist to begin a 12 month temporary contract within the fostering service.

Experience of working in social care and marketing and recruitment is essential as well as knowledge of the fostering service and key training requirements for foster carers.

We have a highly ambitions foster carer recruitment and retention strategy and we want experienced skilled and knowledgeable people to support us implementing the strategy to make Wrexham one of the market leaders in Wales for fostering.

You will work with a small number of foster carer ambassadors within a specialist recruitment and assessment hub of the fostering service to recruit, asses and support foster carers through their fostering journey.
