One of our Council’s priorities is focused on strengthening our services to benefit the wellbeing of adults who need our support. Following recent investment in this service we have introduced two new exciting leadership roles, one in Adults and one in Children’s, to join our senior management team. We are currently recruiting to the Adult’s position.
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive forward Adult’s services on their improvement journey and build on the success we have achieved to date. If successful you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Officer, Social Care, in their statutory role of Director of Social Services.
As part of the wider Social Care function, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of the Adult’s element of the service. You will be a key lead on the management of change, facilitating innovation and continuous improvement to deliver effective and efficient Adult’s services, whilst working alongside Children’s Senior Managers to ensure synergies and collective working across both elements of the service, to operate as a single service.
We are seeking a professional who is skilled at leading services and delivering change, can bring new ideas, and will have significant knowledge and understanding of the social care sector and display the right values and behaviours to act as a role model to others.
We have an attractive benefits package, including salary and can offer:

· Excellent
