This is a new post created as part of the re structure within the Housing Department. As Allocations Officer you will assist in allocating the Council’s void properties, including garages, in line with the allocations policy, procedures and legislation.
As Allocations Assistant you will be required to manage the Council’s registers, carry out pre tenancy work, complete home visits, ensure nominations are completed appropriately.
You will be the single point of contact for applicants on the Council’s housing register and responsible for communicating all aspects of the process to the service user and to process any concerns or enquiries.
You will report directly to the Allocations Team Leader and be required to support the Team Leader in delivering the services / projects in line with key corporate strategies.
