Due to a significant investment in the Looked after Children’s Service in Wrexham an opportunity has arisen to join our experienced, enthusiastic team of social workers and family support workers who provide the service to our looked after children following the plan for permanence being agreed in court.
We want Wrexham to be the place where children have the opportunity to build relationships with one or more adults who support or care for them throughout their childhood and beyond and into adulthood.
We want our looked after children and care leavers to feel safe and loved and to receive the best possible education to prepare them for adulthood.
You will be supported to build effective relationships with our looked after children and their carers and birth families to ensure the most effective care planning which is focussed on the needs of the child and young person
An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
