G09 £35,745 - £38,223 per annum
G10 £39,186 - £42,403 per annum

To manage, recruit, supervise, support and develop foster carers.
Within Wrexham we have developed three social work hubs which include the foster carer recruitment hub, the assessment of kinship carer’s hub and the fostering support team. This has enabled Wrexham to specialise their services ensuring that the social workers in each hub have a dedicated role in which they can offer Wrexham’s foster carers the best possible experience and extensive support throughout their journey whether this be within the assessment process or through to the long term care of a child or young person.
Wrexham fostering service has a stable and experienced cohort of employees from their fostering support workers up to senior management levels. Wrexham are proud of the ways in which staff feel able to confidently approach their manager’s and senior manager’s in respect of any difficulties or issues they may be experiencing.
Wrexham are continually investing in our foster carers and staff alike with extensive training packages currently being developed to meet the developing needs within our society as a whole.

An Enhanced DBS check &Social Care Wales registration is required for this position.
