G07 £24,920 - £26,446 per annum

Exciting opportunity available - a role which allows for a combination of home and office working and undertaking site visits 

In addition, Wrexham Council Borough Council also offer flexible working arrangements to support you in achieving a positive home/ work balance

Attendance at team-meetings would normally be expected to be in person whilst significant use is made of Zoom and Microsoft Teams

The Housing Support Grants and Development Team which sits within the Housing Department are looking to recruit someone to fit into both their friendly and dynamic team who can help make positive changes to the lives of people who find themselves homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We are looking for someone who can help to contribute to the planning of how services are designed, commissioned and delivered aligning operational delivery with key corporate, regional and national strategies by:

•           Supporting Housing Support Grants and Development (HSG&D) Officers in the management of contracts

•           Holding own caseload of lower risk contracts to Review and to ensure their compliance with Housing Support Grant (HSG) conditions through contract monitoring and management. 

•           Supporting HSG&D Officers in the development of existing schemes and with commissioning, service development and re-modelling of schemes.

•           Advising and supporting service providers in the operation of contracts.

•           Supporting HSG&D Officers in the preparation, submission and monitoring of grant bids associated with homelessness prevention locally and regionally.
