G04 £21,189 - £21,575 per annum
(£10.98 - £11.18 per hour)
Working
within the Housing Service department. As Allocations Assistant you will assist
in allocating the Council’s void properties, including garages, in line with
the allocations policy, procedures and legislation.
As
Allocations Assistant you will ensure applications are processed within given
timescales in order to minimize waiting times for service users and to maximise
their housing solutions. To provide clerical
assistance to the Allocations Team Leader when required. To be responsible for
administering the post, Archiving and the team e-mail address.
You will be the single point of contact for
applicants on the Council’s housing register and responsible for communicating
all aspects of the process to the service user and to process any concerns or
enquiries.
You will report directly to the Allocations Team
Leader and be required to support the Team Leader in delivering the services /
projects in line with key corporate strategies.
