An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Accountancy Team for a Senior Finance Officer position. The post is generic and one of nine that provide wide ranging financial support across all aspects of the Authority.

The Council is looking to fill one of these posts which will provide financial support to the Schools Finance Team. 

The Schools Finance Team provide Finance & Budget support to all Wrexham’s Schools, this post gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a range of colleagues including Head Teachers, Schools Support Staff & the Education Management Team.

Ideally you will be a qualified accounting technician with experience of providing financial advice and support to managers. Given the generic nature of the post, it is expected that the successful applicant will demonstrate therequisite skill set to provide accountancy support across the full range of the Authority’s activities.
