This post is
within the Housing Department and is to provide a work planning function to our
Planned Maintenance Team, supporting a number of Repairs and Maintenance
contracts.
As a Work
Planner within the Housing Repairs Team you will communicate with tenants and
contractors to coordinate repairs to be undertaken. You will act as a single
point of contact for tenants and contractors ensuring that work is successfully
completed to the satisfaction of the tenant.
You will liaise
with the Repairs Surveyors and Team Leader, allocating jobs on the housing
management system and scanning of essential documentation.
You will report
directly to the Team Leader and be required to provide support in delivering
services/ projects in line with key corporate strategies.
For this post
you will need to be a self- starting, resilient team worker, with good
interpersonal and communication skills along with good I.T. skills and the
ability to multi task.
