G05 £21,968 - £22,777 per annum 

The Transport & Road Safety Team is based within the Environment & Technical Department and deals with all transport services for the Council, including Education and Social Care Transport and Supported Public Transport. 

We are seeking to appoint a suitable person to join our existing team as Home to School Transport Operations Officer to ensure that pupils eligible for home to school transport are provided with appropriate solutions, which operate effectively and efficiently.  

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and hardworking, with experience of working in a demanding and busy environment.  Whilst experience of a similar role would be an advantage, it is not essential.  

The postholder will need to have knowledge of the local area, and be committed to providing excellent service.  Training and development opportunities will be provided for the right candidate.  

Please note that whilst the job is advertised as full time (i.e. 37 hours per week), we may be able to accommodate part time hours, or flexible working between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  Please contact us if you wish to discuss this, or indicate somewhere on your application if you would like us to consider part time/flexible hours.
