G11 £40,478 - £43,516 per annum

We are looking for a motivated, experienced and innovative individual to deliver a project to provide ‘move on’ accommodation.  The role will involve assessing the need for and sourcing suitable accommodation for use across all service areas of the council, along with application for, and allocation of, grant funding where applicable.  You will develop relationships and work closely with a number of internal and external partners and will have responsibility for another officer, along with chairing and directing the Accommodation Task and Finish Group.  You will design and develop ‘move on’ strategies, policies and plans and report regularly on their effectiveness, making recommendations for service improvement and taking appropriate action.

This is initially a 2 year secondment opportunity. In which SLT have given the go ahead to release you to apply for this role.
