LEVEL 4 TEACHING ASSISTANT – Support & Delivery

G06 £17,227 - £18,198 per annum

32.5 hours per week

TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE

The Governing Body seeks to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant. The purpose of this role to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.  This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils achievement, progress and development. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the management and development of a specialist area within the school and/or management of other teaching assistants including allocation and monitoring of work, appraisal and training.

The successful candidate will

•           Lead ICT, media and photography options for pupils with a range of additional learning needs. This will include planning for and working with the head of phase on appropriate accreditation routes

•           Lead social and emotional interventions with small groups and individuals as referred through the support and provision panel

•           To support in class as required
