Family Aide
1x 22 hour post
G10 £36,298 -
£39,493 pro rata
Temporary until
31/03/2025
An exciting opportunity
has arisen for a Coordinator for the Family aide team based within Family
Centres. The post will involve managing a small team of workers in delivering the
Family Aid programme. The team aims to prevent vulnerable families from
becoming homeless by promoting social inclusion and greater independence. The
support offered includes assistance with budgeting and claiming benefits; applying
for appropriate accommodation to meet family needs and helping families to set
up maintainable routines around the home and accessing resources in their own
community.
You will have supervisory
experience and a passion to ensure the team performs to the best standards
possible. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and be able
to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and partnership working with both
parents and other professionals. Experience of monitoring and evaluating the
work is essential.
The Family
Centres offer a range of preventative services and the person successful in the
post will have the benefit of working alongside a team of workers with
experience of parenting and specialist parenting in the field of substance
misuse and domestic abuse.
