All Age Disability Team - Registered Social Workers

Permanent Positions – 37 and 30 hour posts available

Part time hours and job share also considered to support work life balance. 

G09 Salary £35,745 - £38,223 x 2

G10 Salary £39,186 - £42,403 x 2

(Dependent on relevant skills and experience)

The All Age Disability Team have an exciting opportunity for Social Workers to join an innovative and progressive team.

The successful candidates will contribute to the team’s multi-agency approach to providing a seamless health, social care and well-being service for individuals with disabilities of all ages, their families and carers. The Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act (2014), Children’s Act 1989 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 provide legislative frameworks to ensure the team comply with statutory duties and that individuals are supported to achieve positive outcomes at all stages of their lives.

You will work with individuals so that they are enabled to identify their own personal outcomes.  Your work will focus on the individual and their support networks including families to promote independence, ensure the individual has a stronger voice in decision making and ensure they have more control in their lives.  

The team would like to attract motivated Social Workers at any level of experience to hold a case load predominantly in adults. To be the right person for this role, you will have excellent communication skills, proven experience of working as part of a team, previous experience of working with vulnerable adults and the ability to respond appropriately to the needs of adults with a diagnosed disability whilst working within statutory guidelines, policies and standards. The All Age Disability team can offer the opportunity to work within a specific specialised area, with the prospect of further developing skills and experience to work across all areas of the team, including with children if you have a desire to do so.
