Assistant Team Manager 

Grade:11

£43,,421  - £46,464 Per annum

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking for an experienced Assistant Team Manager for our Looked After Children’s Team. You will be one of three Assistant Team Managers, reporting to the Team Manager, and together we want you to deliver our vision for the looked after children of Wrexham and their carers.

We want Wrexham to be the place where looked after children have the opportunity to build relationships with one or more adults who care for them throughout their childhood and beyond, and who are superb advocates for the looked after children in their care.

We want our looked after children to feel safe and loved and to receive the best possible education to prepare them for adulthood.

To meet these objectives we want someone who can ensure services are of a high quality and exceed national standards. You will need to work across services, the council and partners to maintain excellent practice and working relationships.

You will need to be experienced in working with looked after children, bring innovative ideas that will support your practitioners to provide the best possible service to the looked after children of Wrexham and their carers.

The Assistant Team Manager post in the Looked After Children  attracts a recruitment incentive payment of £2,996 as a welcome to the Council.
