Resource Teacher working with BCHUB to support the needs of neuro-diverse children and young people.  Secondment or short term contract

Salary band: Teacher, pay scale up to TLR3 and 1 ALN Allowance

Are you driven to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people? Would you like to help shape an inclusive landscape which supports the holistic needs of neuro-diverse children and young people?

If so, then you might be well placed to join our dynamic Inclusion and ALN Service.  The Local Authority working in partnership with Betsi Cadwalar Health Board (BCHUB) seeks to appoint or second an outstanding professional to pilot and evaluate new collaborative models of working across sectors of Health and Education.

This will entail working with closely with the CAMHS team, a teaching commitment and the ability to research, analyse data and provide effective written and verbal reports to Education and Health leads.

As a member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency service, the post holder will make an important contribution to formulating policies and procedures needed to drive forward change. 

The successful candidate will have extensive expertise of working in the ALN sector.  Evidence of best practise teaching in this area, a desire to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, the ability to prioritise time effectively and produce written reports at a post graduate level. 

The post is funded by the Regional Partnership Board.  The funding will conclude March 2025.
