The role is
grant funded until December 2024 with the possibility of extension dependent on
securing further grant funding.

exciting opportunity to develop and deliver community projects offering
practical and effective solutions to support our communities to take action to
reduce carbon and waste and slow the pace of climate change.
Climate Change and Carbon Reduction
Officer (Community Growing) x 1
We are looking
for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to deliver inclusive community
growing spaces and develop and co-ordinate the delivery of upskilling and
training opportunities.
We welcome
applications from people with a range of skills and experience, and we are
particularly interested in applications from people with experience or
knowledge related to creating growing spaces, growing food, nature-supporting
actions, and engaging communities to develop and deliver practical
projects.
Within this
role, you can make a real difference in Wrexham and help people learn new
skills and take practical and effective action to grow their own food, help
nature and slow the pace of climate change. At the same time helping to reduce
the cost of living. Leading on these projects, you will complete agreed
monitoring and reporting and deliver against the expected outcomes in grant funding
award.

Officer (Community Repair/ Reuse) x 1
We are looking
for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to deliver inclusive community
repair/ reuse hubs and libraries of things as well as co-ordinate the delivery
of upskilling and training opportunities.
We welcome
applications from people with a range of skills and experience, and we are
particularly interested in applications from people with experience or
knowledge related to working with and engaging local communities to develop and
deliver practical projects.
Within this
role, you can make a real difference in Wrexham and help people learn new
skills and take practical and effective action to reduce waste and slow the
pace of climate change. At the same time helping to reduce the cost of living.
Leading on these projects, you will complete agreed monitoring and reporting
and deliver against the expected outcomes in grant funding award.
