We are seeking
highly motivated qualified Social Workers with proven knowledge and experience
in Older People’s social work who are seeking opportunities to lead and mentor
a group of Social Workers and Social Care Assessors within our Older People’s
Team. You will be one of four ATM’s who,
in addition to providing direct supervisory support to their identified
supervisees, will also undertake a duty management role on a rota basis.
You will drive
forward quality social work practice and performance through the daily
operational management of the team and supporting the Team Manager to manage
the workload and through-put of cases. You will have skills/knowledge in
managing people effectively, including employee engagement, and take a coaching
and reflective approach to supervision to enable others to improve their
practice, manage risks and promote outcome achievement in line with
departmental policy and the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act.

People’s Team is involved a number of projects to improve services to our
citizens, so it’s a great time to join the team and contribute to our ongoing
development. An understanding of
multi-disciplinary working and working with individuals, their families and
unpaid carers is essential.
