DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER

Full time with no term time leave

L1 – 6

Start date: September 2024

The children, staff and governors of Brynteg CP are seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and caring Deputy Head Teacher to work as part of our team.

The successful candidate will:

• be an excellent teacher
• be someone who can demonstrate they have made a positive impact on the quality of teaching, learning and leadership across their current school
• be keen to drive teaching and learning further across the whole school in line with the new curriculum
• be someone who is committed to the wellbeing and academic progress of all children
• have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
• have experience of working with pupils with a variety additional learning needs
• maintain, develop and nurture partnerships between pupils, parents/ carers, staff, governors and the wider community
• be a person who values people and recognises the importance of compassion and inclusivity.

Visits to the school are welcomed on the following dates:

• Thursday 14th March at 2pm
• Tuesday 9th  April at 3.30pm

CLOSING DATE: Friday 12th April at NOON

Candidates will be invited to share a whole school assembly and teach a lesson during the week beginning 22nd April

Interviews will take place on Friday 26th April .
