Service Development manager - Adults and Children’s Provider Services
Grade 12 £47,420 - £50,512 Per Annum

This is a two year secondment opportunity (Funded) full-time post with provider services.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our provider services team. Reporting directly to the Registered Individual (RI), the successful candidate will support the RI in the strategic planning, design and delivery of service provision.
They will lead and be instrumental in the development of a co-ordinated, efficient and effective service, working within Legislation including Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act, Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act, Social Care Wales, Council policies and priorities and the overall direction of the Department.
The post will be responsible for supporting the RI with driving innovation and change, ensuring compliance with Statutory and operational requirements, which will include the oversight and setting up of new services, project management across Adults and Children’s Provider services and the operational management of more complex work, such as operating as Registered Manager with full management responsibility for new settings at the initial launch and prior to appointment of a substantive Registered Manager.
They will be enthusiastic about being part of a large disperse team and have significant experience in managing, designing and delivering social care services.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with all in house care settings developing existing and new services. The candidate must be a good team player with an excellent knowledge Registration and Inspection legislation.
An enhanced DBS & Social Council for Wales’s registration is required for this position.
