The governors of St Mary’s CiW VA School invite serving Headteacher, or experienced practitioners holding a NPQH qualification, to apply for the role of Headteacher.

St Mary’s school is located within the beautiful rural village of Overton on Dee, near the border with England. It is well supported by the community and has strong links to the church, a hard-working Parent Teacher Association and an active governing body.

The governors are seeking to appoint a headteacher to build on the existing excellent foundations of our school, as evidenced by our recent Estyn inspection report. The appointed headteacher will ensure a creative, positive, inspiring and aspirational learning environment for pupils, staff and families at the heart of our community.
