Interim Head of Service Performance, Improvement and Partnerships G14

Grade 14 £56,867 - £60,336

 Internal Only

2-year secondment; 4 days per week (other arrangements or combinations of more or less hours will be considered)

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to take the next steps in their career at Head of Service level with a two-year interim appointment, supported by the current post holder.  If you have excellent leadership skills and have a broad range of experience as a strong team manager, then this may be an interesting opportunity for you.  

Performance, Improvement and Partnerships (PIPS) covers a diverse range of functions across two teams at the heart of the organisation: Corporate team (Involvement, Council Plan development and performance management, equality, self-assessment, risk management and governance functions) and Partnerships team (partnership working across the themes of Community Safety, Community Cohesion, Resettlement, PSB and Armed Forces).

You will need a strong understanding of governance and decision-making processes, excellent relationship building skills with experience of partnership working, the ability to challenge and influence at a senior level and the ability to respond rapidly to changing demands.
