HEADTEACHER

To start 1st September or as soon as possible thereafter

Leadership L11 - L17

The Governors of St Peters CiW VC School invite serving Headteachers, or experienced practitioners holding a NPQH qualification, to apply for the role of Headteacher.

St Peter’s school is located within the beautiful rural village of Rossett, near the border of Cheshire.  St Peter’s fosters and creates a caring and inclusive learning environment where our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. We have highly motivated pupils, dedicated and creative staff, supportive parents and a committed and active Governing body.  We are a school which provides a broad and balanced curriculum for each child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social and moral well-being, equipping them with the skills for their future.  As a family we serve the community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian beliefs and practices.

The governors are seeking to appoint a headteacher to build on the existing school excellence.  The appointed headteacher will demonstrate clear leadership, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills whilst fostering and inspiring excellent classroom practice.  The candidate will motivate and inspire pupils and staff while keeping the learning environment for pupils, staff, and families at the heart of our community.

Pre-application visits to the school would be welcomed. For further information and to arrange an appointment for a visit, please contact Richard Huxley, Chair of Governors by email to HuxleyR8@Hwbcymru.net

The Governing Body will consider exercising its rights to appoint the successful candidate at a point in the salary range appropriate to their skills and expertise, in accordance with the STPCD. This post is subject to Education Workforce Council Registration.

PLEASE RETURN COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS DIRECTLY TO

THE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS via email: HuxleyR8@Hwbcymru.net
