An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing Support Grants and Development Team. Are you passionate about supporting individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless? Passionate about wanting to make a difference then this role is for you. 

The Assistant Gateway Officer will contribute to the delivery of Housing Support services for people who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or who have community safety/housing support needs across the whole of Wrexham County Borough. They will assist the Gateway Officer in the development of partnership working with the Housing Support, Housing Options and Local Lettings  Team, Housing Support providers in co-ordinating appropriate referrals that support people with complex and non-complex needs in a way that enables them to maximise their independence, be able to access opportunities relevant to their needs, to assist in assessing and reviewing services and recommending changes to ensure provision is the most appropriate. 

The post is permanent one with full training and continued support.

An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
