Temporary Secondment Opportunity until 31st March 2025
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen in the TAC Team, for the role as a Family Support Worker. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who can take the lead in co-ordinating an effective preventative offer to families across Wrexham County Borough Council.
If you apply for this role and are successful, you will be part of an experienced and committed team within the Social Care department.
You will work with partners to provide families with consistent Early Help and Targeted support to improve outcomes in line with the Social Services Well-being Wales Act 2014 and the Wrexham County Borough Council Prevention and Early Help Framework. This will include identifying needs, and providing appropriate preventative support to families and agencies, including contacting families who are awaiting allocation to a TAC Officer and offering support and guidance the families agencies and young people.
