G11 £43,421 - £46,464 (pro rata)
22 hours per week
To manage a team of family support workers providing a social work support service to the designated client group across the Borough in line with departmental policy based on the philosophy of the Children Act. When required, to manage other fieldwork and other services for that same client group. To efficiently manage the resources of the team with particular regard to the quality of service provision in accordance with WCBC policy and statutory requirements, within a given budget. To be responsible for the leadership, management, co-ordination and development of the team and the service.
You will have relevant Registered Social Worker qualifications OR hold a Post-qualifying management development and/or training e.g. CMS, NVQ4.
Working Hours:
Between 7.30am – 7pm, flexibility outside these hours to meet needs of children, young people and families.
