SENIOR TECHNICIAN – Internal only

Scale G08 - £32,076 - £34,834

37 hours - Permanent

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out detailed feasibility and designs of a wide range of Highway and Engineering Schemes. This work will include the design of Highway schemes i.e.; Carriageway reconstruction, Road Markings and assisting in the design of large complex schemes, preparation of drawings and documents and arrange implementation, all in accordance with National and Wrexham County Borough regulations, standards and guidelines.

The post holder will also undertake site assessments, take quantities and measurements and assist with the preparation of estimates to other Council staff and elected members.

In addition, the post holder will carry out supervision of a range of civil contractors to ensure all works on site are completed within specified timescales, within budget, and to ensure that the quality of the works is being achieved and sustained.
