We’re looking for an experienced lawyer to work in our People Team within Legal Services.  You will be joining a vibrant and committed team guided by People Team Senior Lawyer and including two lawyers and a paralegal officer.

This challenging role requires an individual able to manage a complex caseload across a wide range of contentious subject areas including possession claims and suspended eviction hearings, homlessness and allocation, ASB and civil injunctions, landlord and tenant issues, tenancy fraud, termination of commercial tenancies and providing support to our paralegal. You must be able to provide robust advice to ensure that the Council meets all relevant legal requirements. You will have excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills and the ability to work independently. You will need experience of litigation including advocacy in the Courts.
