37 hours per week

Wrexham Social Care is seeking a Consultant Social Worker to enhance service delivery within its proactive Children’s department. The successful post holder will act as Wrexham’s Lead in new practice areas on a regional and national basis. The post purpose is to improve practice within social care, as well as to drive the development of and embedding of improved practice across a number of Children’s social work teams.

The local authority is committed to drawing on the growing evidence base to developing innovative services which work effectively with families who suffer from multiple symptoms of social exclusion and subsequently depend significantly on a wide range of public services.
