Participation Youth Support Worker – Second Level

JNC Second Level, Points Range 8 to 11

(£24,799.00 - £27,434.00 Pro rata)

14.8 hours per week. 

Wrexham Youth Service has an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Youth Support Worker, based within its Participation Team working across schools and community settings. 

Tasks specific to the role - 

• To support the development and operation of the Senedd Yr Ifanc and its management group, promoting participation utilising current and emerging social media platforms.

• Work collaboratively with partner agencies providing guidance and support to enable the involvement of young people in local and national decision making processes. 

• Supporting participation opportunities and shared decision making process within secondary schools.

• To support participation relevant training to young people and professionals.

 An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
