Whilst your base will be Crown Buildings, you will have the option to work flexibly, with some time at home, on site and in the workplace. You can also take advantage of our flexible working arrangements.
We are looking to recruit a First Contact Advisor in the Contracts and Commissioning Team, supporting the Telecare function. This role is at grade 04, on a full time fixed basis until 31st March 2026 (with a potential option to be extended) in a friendly and busy team. Full support and training will be available to the appointed person.
The post holder will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all telecare services are appropriately recorded, updated and charged for and will be the first point of contact within the department for resolving any queries.
The post holder will need to have a confident telephone manner in order to be able to support service users contacting the department and be able to work to a high level of accuracy and detail with recording information on a number of database systems. The post requires an element of financial management with processing invoices for payment and providing any day-to-day support as directed by the Assistive Technology Project Manager. Therefore, strong numerical, Word and Excel skills are essential for this role.
The team has adopted a hybrid working model, partly based in an office (Crown Buildings) and working at home. You will need to be comfortable using technology to be able to work from any location and to maintain contact with colleagues.
