G11 £44,711- £47,754 per annum

The children’s SPOA (Single Point of Access) Team acts as the first point of contact for the department receiving requests for information, advice and assistance to support children and families and also to investigate safeguarding concerns. SPOA is a multi-agency team that brings key professionals together to facilitate early information sharing to support families and safeguard children. This is achieved by collating information from different agencies to inform interventions to achieve the best outcomes for children.

Social Workers and Managers in SPOA need excellent communication skills, relevant experience, as well as a drive and passion for supporting families and improving outcomes for children.  You will be expected to respond to the needs of children and their families within statutory guidelines, policies and standards, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is paramount.
