The Governors of Ysgol Bryn Tabor invite serving Headteachers or experienced practitioners holding a NPQH qualification to apply for the role of Headteacher.
We are a Welsh Medium Primary School serving the village of Coedpoeth and surrounding areas. The school also offers wrap around childcare and has recently introduced Flying Start provision.
The school’s main aim is to provide a happy and safe environment where each individual is appreciated and we strive for a balance between academic success and development of sound personal skills. We aim to provide the best possible education, reflecting the needs of each individual pupil enabling each one to reach his / her full potential.
We have highly motivated pupils, dedicated staff, supportive parents and a committed and active governing body.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, visionary Headteacher with excellent leadership skills with the commitment and drive to maintain high standards and high levels of achievement. The ability to communicate and teach through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
The successful candidate should:
demonstrate strong and dynamic leadership with a clear vision for Welsh-medium education.
show a strong commitment to promoting health and wellbeing, pupil voice and Welsh medium education.
model and inspire excellent classroom practice and maintain a strong passion for teaching and learning.
motivate and inspire all pupils and staff.
possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders.
develop each child’s full potential in all aspects of school life.
maintain and strengthen the links across our cluster, promoting best practice.
create an environment which secures effective learning for all pupils and promotes high standards of achievement.
demonstrate the ability to innovate and adapt to developments in education.
demonstrate strong financial management skills ensuring effective deployment of resources to ensure best value.
