Are you a legally qualified individual looking for a new challenge within a supportive Local Government environment? We are looking for an individual to join our in-house legal services department to provide legal support to the People and Place Team, who are responsible for the administration and conduct of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the Council’s Housing Revenue Account (HRA). You will be required to assist with the broad range of legal work including non-contentious matters such as the preparation of Reports on Title, HRA sales and purchases of land,  the Leasing Scheme Wales project along with assisting with contentious HRA matters relating to Tenancy Enforcement and Housing Disrepair.  The post holder will hold their own caseload and will have an active role in assisting Senior Lawyers in organising evidence, drafting and reviewing documents, preparing instructions to Counsel and researching.
