The Governors of Ysgol Y Grango are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly committed and effective Deputy Head teacher to join our leadership. 

The school has recently been placed into the category of special measures and require a senior leader who can set high standards and deliver rapid improvements to enable the school to be removed from this category. 

As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher toprovide strategic leadership and direction, inspiring and motivating our staff, students, and the wider community. You will play a key role in driving school improvement, quality assurance processes, maintaining high standards and ensuring that all staff are enacting the vision of the school. The successful candidate will be expected to deputise in the absence of the Headteacher.

We are not specifying the key responsibilities for this role, as we want to find the right person for the role, and we can negotiate areas of responsibility to suit the right candidate.
