Governor Advisory Officer

G05 £13.26 - £13.69 per hour– Term Time only – 22.30 hours per week

The Governor Advisory Officer post sits within the Governor Support Services team and forms an integral part of the Education Department, contributing to raising school governance standards.

We are a friendly and committed team, supporting and advising volunteers and head teachers in their governor role.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent administrator who can demonstrate:-

• experience in providing advice,
• experience of working within prescribed guidelines,
• ability to take minutes,
• good organisational skills,
• excellent communication and inter-personal skills,
• excellent IT skills,
• ability to work to tight deadlines,
• a flexible approach to working hours,
• a passion to support volunteers.

The post holder will be required to work evenings and attend schools across the County to deliver the service (average 1 evening per week).
