Pro Rata Salary/Grade Scale G04: £12.85 to £13.05 per hour

Up to 30 hours per week in school holidays (excluding Christmas)

The WCBC Play Development Team aims to increase the number of quality play opportunities for all children across Wrexham and is currently responsible for managing and developing a number of open access community playschemes. Successful applicants will have the energy and drive to develop and facilitate rich play environments for children aged 5 to 15 years old for up to six hours per day.

Applicants will have a commitment to high quality play provision and the playwork principles and an understanding of play’s importance in children’s lives. All applicants must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.

Successful applicants will be employed on a casual contract and will be offered work as and when it is available. We cannot guarantee a specific number of hours per week of employment.

An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
