An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resettlement Project Officer based in the Partnerships Team within the Performance, Improvement and Partnerships Service.

We are looking for someone who has strong project coordination skills with a good understanding of the complexities involved in resettling displaced families.  The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day coordination, working closely with the Senior Performance Improvement and Partnerships Officer who leads on Resettlement, to ensure that families receive the support needed to integrate into their local communities.  This role demands excellent organisation skills, the ability to monitor contract delivery effectively and a keen eye for identifying opportunities for service improvement.

The ideal candidate must have experience in collaborative partnerships, as the role requires engagement with a diverse range of providers and stakeholders. They will work closely with the Partnership team and liaise across multiple local authority departments, as well as with key partners in Health, Education, and both the public and third sectors. Additionally, they must be adept at fostering strong and sustainable working relationships with regional and national partners.

We are looking for someone who can work across organisation boundaries, and work with people from a variety of backgrounds with varying job roles.  The post holder will need to be able to work without direct supervision and be able to understand and evaluate the project from both an operational and strategic perspective.

In return we can offer you an opportunity to work in a fast paced, supportive working environment and to further develop your skills in partnership working and understanding of the work area.
