Business Support Assistant (Childcare) (12 month temporary contract)

Are you looking for a new challenge within a supportive Local Government environment? We’re looking for a Business Support Assistant to join our childcare legal team on a temporary 12 month contract. Dealing primarily with childcare work and children’s services, this role requires an individual able to support the lawyers with childcare cases.
You must be able to provide robust administrative support to ensure that the Council meets all relevant legal requirements. You will use our Case Management system to assist preparing court bundles which will include assisting the team with redacting confidential information when required to do so to assist the team . You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
The role will entail being the primary member of the team responsible for minute taking Legal Gateway and Pre-Proceedings meetings which will take place both remotely and in-person. In addition to minute taking, the candidate will be responsible for organising the meetings within the team diary liaising with Children’s Services.
