G04 £24,790 – £25,183 pro rata
19 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Cleaning:
G02 £12,087 per annum
21 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

The Governors of St. Giles’ CiW Primary School are seeking to appoint a Caretaker/Cleaner to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff.
The successful candidate should be a practical and self-motivated person with a positive attitude, who is able to use initiative in maintaining the buildings and school site.
The person appointed will be responsible for keeping the site secure and will possess the ability to undertake minor maintenance repairs and carry out safety checks as required and ensure adequate records are maintained. The person will ensure the efficient removal of waste from the building and the grounds, including recycling, and ensure that the outdoors is kept clear of weeds, litter, and debris.
As a main key holder, the person will also be responsible for daily unlocking and locking of the school. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of the cleaners, organising the cleaning of the school interior to a high standard of cleanliness and ensure stocks are replenished as required.
Experience is desirable, however training can be given.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
