PERMANENT FULL TIME post available. 37 hours per week Hybrid working systems.

Educational Psychology Service

Crown Building, Chester Street, Wrexham—with working from home and across Wrexham schools

Soulbury Educational Psychology B Scale 1-4.  Previous SPA points will be honoured.  At least 5 years’ experience working as a main grade EP within a local authority.

You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative practitioner who is committed to applying psychology within a person centred framework. You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to motivate and build productive working relationships with others within a strongly established and committed team. You will be fascinated by the field of Psychology and open to innovative evidence based practice as we move towards an exciting period of legislative change in Wales. You will be pro-active in supporting the Principal in managing the team to embrace new ways of delivering the service to our community.

Along with a strong desire to further develop your career in management, you must have experience of working as an Educational psychologist within a Local Authority context. You will have some experience of supervision and be committed to developing fresh approaches to the vital process of reflective evaluation.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is highly desirable.
