Assistant Team Manager – SGO Team

Permanent

Location – Based at Children’s Social Care Crown Building’s.

G11  £44,711 - £47,754 per annum

37 hours per week

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking for an experienced leader and Assistant Team Manager for our Fostering Support Hub.

We want you to help deliver our vision for the looked after children of Wrexham and their foster carers.

We want Wrexham to be the place where children have the opportunity to build relationships with one or more adults who care for them throughout their childhood and beyond, and who are superb advocates for the looked after children in their care.

We want our looked after children to feel safe and loved and to receive the best possible education to prepare them for adulthood.

To meet these objectives we want someone who can ensure services are of a high quality and exceed national standards. You will need to work across service, the council and partners to grow the service in an increasingly competitive market.

You will need to be experienced in the field of fostering and bring innovative ideas that will support your practitioners to provide the best possible service to the carers of Wrexham in recognition of the excellent work they do.
