(Level 1)

GO3 £7,586 – £7,705 per annum

14 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 08:45-12:15)

To commence in September 2025 (Temporary post- initially to March 2026)

TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE 

The governors of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and innovative team within our very happy, caring and inclusive school community.

The successful applicant will:

 âœ” Support the Catholic ethos of the school

 âœ”Actively promote the school’s ethos of inclusion and celebrate the diverse nature of our school

 âœ” Have previous experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs and vulnerable learners (Desirable)

✔ Work under the direction of the ALNCo and class teachers to deliver suitable interventions/ programmes of support to enable all pupils across the school to make progress in their well-being and learning

 âœ” Establish supportive relationships with pupils, parents and staff

✔ Participate in any relevant ongoing/ additional professional development and training to support the ongoing needs of the role, as required

✔ Be a confident communicator

✔ Be able to work constructively as part of an effective team and have the ability to use initiative when working independently.

An Enhanced DBS & EWC registration is required for this position.
