Senior Lawyer (Childcare)
Grade 12 £48,710 - £51,802 Per annum
Internal only
We’re looking for an experienced lawyer to manage our childcare section within Legal Services. You’ll need excellent communication skills and be experienced in managing staff.
This challenging role requires an individual able to manage a team of lawyers and officers, as well as their own complex childcare caseload. You will lead and mentor the team, and must be able to provide robust advice to ensure that the Council meets all relevant legal requirements. You will have excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills and the ability to work independently. You will need experience of childcare cases including advocacy in the Courts.
A pro-active, flexible and strategic approach to work is vital.
